Helpful Hints in Applying for Your Visa:
- Visit the U.S. Department of State Web site to review changes to the visa process
that may affect you.
- Apply for your visa as early as possible and at least 90 days prior to your departure date.
- A letter of invitation is required by the US government in certain countries in order to obtain a VISA to the US. The attendees from these countries have to make an appointment with the US Embassy or Consulate and present the letter of invitation to get their visa. Registration will only issue a letter of invitation once all credentials have been sent and the Buyer is approved for a pass. The letter is then sent via FedEx along with the passes to the individual to take to his appointment at the US Embassy or Consulate.
Please visit www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html to see if a letter of invitation will be required to obtain your visa to the United States. If so, please include a copy of the photo page of your passport when sending registration credentials.
- Check your passport expiration date to make sure it will be valid for at least six months from your date of travel.
- If you already have a visa, check the expiration date to make sure it will not expire before your trip.
