My mom and dad opened Rotmans in 1964, after running another store for about 10 years. Today, we're New England's largest furniture and carpet retailer. I started coming to the High Point Market with my dad in the 1950s and have been attending regularly since 1962. It is, without question, the easiest market to shop. We need a wide variety of products for our store and in High Point, we can compare suppliers across the full range of home furnishings categories, in large showrooms that allow us to see each supplier's full line instead of just a few, selected pieces. About 98% of our current vendors show in High Point, far more than we can find at any other venue. Plus, it's an excellent place to find new sources. With newer, smaller manufacturers showing up at almost every High Point Market, we have access to an unending stream of fresh products from up-and-coming suppliers.
