As we move into the next few years, High Point Market Authority will begin to implement exciting new plans to improve the Market experience for all attendees. Guests will enjoy improved amenities, more after-hours entertainment options, more exciting and informative learning opportunities, and more opportunities to meet – and create business connections with – colleagues, peers, and leaders from across our industry. We expect these changes to go beyond maintaining High Point Market’s position as a world-leading furnishings show to making it a model event among all trade shows in all industries.
As a non-profit organization that receives its funding from Market exhibitors and the State of North Carolina, we must seek new sources of funds to realize this vision. We will ask our public partners at the State of North Carolina, Guilford County, and City of High Point to increase their contribution in an amount commensurate with High Point Market’s exceptional positive impact on North Carolina’s economy. We are also seeking sponsors at every level, from a presenting sponsor to sponsors of individual events and activations.
Additionally, we have a small, $55 registration fee, per pass, for all guests who attend with an Industry pass. This fee is equivalent to that charged by many other major trade shows that allow industry attendees.
As our exhibitors already contribute a significant amount of our funding through the showroom tax, they will not be subject to any additional fees.
