Karat Home is a home textile and furniture e-commerce company based in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. Their journey began in 2014 when they were established as a 100% owned US subsidiary of J&S Yard. Back then, they focused on the wholesale home textile business for big trading partners such as Bernhardt and many more. In 2018, they began shipping big name retailers and began shipping retailers such as Home Depot, Costco, Pier One, Michael’s , Kirklands and many more. In that same year, Karat Home also launched furniture e-commerce business, taking the advantage of textile background. This allowed us to diversify our product offerings and cater to a wider range of customers. While the traditional big retailers still dominated the industry, e-commerce companies exploded in sales volume during Covid and its impact was felt in the industry. As a result, while we kept our existing business relationship with traditional retailers and trading companies we focused more on developing and deepening business cooperation with e-commerce business players, like Wayfair and Amazon. We currently have warehouse in New Jersey, Texas, Georgia and California respectively which allow us to ship over 2000 SKUs within 48 hours.
