ZAAR Design Center is a curated source for Retail stores, interior designers and decorators, founded by Ruth Olbrych on a single standard: a piece has to earn its place. There has to be a connection. A story. A reason. Rather than a broad catalog, ZAAR represents a small group of makers. Chesterfield Collective, handmade in England, is the classic done properly. Longhorn Reserve translates the American West into refined living. Together they cover the room: sofas and sectionals, wing chairs and club chairs, footstools, benches, and bar seating. Much of the collection is made to order, with bespoke colors and leathers, so the piece follows the project instead of the other way around. And because a project timeline does not always allow for that, ZAAR carries stock pieces ready for quick delivery. Leather samples ship to the trade, and the ZAAR team works alongside designers through specification, lead times, and delivery to the client.
