Different Strokes

In 2001, I started Different Strokes with a simple mission: to convey emotion through canvas. I was chasing the way light catches stained glass and the gold-leaf Tanjore art. Those early years taught me that art is more than just the finished piece; it’s about the discipline of the process. For two decades, my work lived in private collections and sacred spaces. It was intimate, sincere, and handcrafted. Today, my work has evolved into experimental 3D art as I layer textures using found materials and sculptural elements to create pieces that demand to be felt as much as seen. I want my art to be an immersive experience rather than just a decoration. My latest work moves onto architectural elements and everyday objects, blurring the line between fine art and lived environments. Whether I'm collaborating with interior designers or working on a solo commission, my goal is to bring a sense of soul back into functional spaces. Twenty years later, the materials have changed, but the heart hasn't. I’m still exploring, building, and finding new ways to make people pause and reflect.
