Bassett Furniture

For 124 years, Bassett has been making furniture for the way people live. Beautifully designed, thoughtfully crafted, and made to feel at home. It all started in 1902, when J.D. Bassett and his brother, C.C., founded the company in the foothills of Virginia. Five generations later, we still take pride in building upholstery and wood furniture in our own Virginia and North Carolina factories, where skilled artisans bring a commitment to craftsmanship you can see and feel in the details. But more than a century of history doesn't mean standing still. Today, Bassett brings together time-honored craftsmanship with the flexibility modern homes demand. Our made-to-order upholstery offers an incredible range of fabrics (450+), leathers (50+), finishes, and configurations without the wait typically associated with custom furniture. Our custom capabilities give retail partners and interior designers the tools to create something personal for every showroom floor, project, and client. Our family of brands also includes Lane Venture, bringing the same dedication to design, comfort, and craftsmanship outdoors. Through it all, the idea remains simple. Make exceptional furniture, be a great partner, and help create spaces people love to live in.
