In its second generation, Sawyer Made continues Dave Sawyer’s impeccable legacy of craftsmanship and thoughtful design. Our dedication to preserving elements of traditional chairmaking honors the wisdom of time-tested tools and techniques as we create heirloom pieces that are sustainable durable, and supremely comfortable. Our process is based on our passion for green woodworking. We follow the grain of the wood as we build, paying careful attention to the moisture content of the material. We also understand and work in harmony with the distinct characteristics of each tree species. Every piece we create is handcrafted, ethically produced and distinctly elegant. Made in Vermont.
